HANG IN THERE, GOOD CAT // classic motivational poster, but with kind, supportive hands
Couldn't load pickup availability
Who doesn't like a motivational poster? Who doesn't need to be reminded to HANG IN THERE (especially these days?)
Did you, like me, always feel kind of bad for that little kitten hanging from a branch in the original poster from the 70s? I would look at that poster and think "Did they have a safety net? How long did you let him hang there to get the shot? Was the kitten scared? WHO WOULD DO THIS TO A KITTEN?"
So, since it is 2026, we've evolved the image and the message. This little tiger tabby has very kind, supportive hands protecting her. We want this image to be both motivational and calming. It should be a reminder to "hang in there" but also that we're all in this together. And that it's important to lend a helping hand to others (especially kittens,) too.
Photo was taken in a backyard in Makawao town, in upcountry Maui, Hawaiʻi, in an orange tree. Kitten safety supervised by many "cat ladies" (including the photographer.)
